About OPSCI
OPSCI helps people explore Ontario public-sector compensation across employers, jobs and years.
The Sunshine List is a useful starting point. OPSCI adds context by connecting records across years, grouping similar job titles and offering comparisons between employers and sectors.
The site is built for people who want to understand the patterns: employer and policy analysts, researchers, journalists and interested professionals. You can also start with a familiar name or explore Top Earners and follow the links into a wider analysis.
What makes OPSCI useful
Looking at the same employees over time helps distinguish changes in their pay from changes in who appears on a list. Grouping related titles makes it easier to compare similar jobs across different employers.
These tools support deeper analysis while keeping the original disclosed information accessible. Our aim is to make useful comparisons easy to explore and understand.
Who is behind it
OPSCI is a project of kdsay labs inc. It is independent of the Ontario government and the employers included in the data.
