Regions
Some public-sector jobs pay the same anywhere in Ontario; others pay noticeably more in one region. Each figure compares a job's median salary in a region with the same job's Ontario-wide median, so a high-paid job doesn't outweigh a lower-paid one. Region is where the employer is based.

A premium counts when the region's median is at least 2% above the job's Ontario median in both 2024 and 2025 (one-year jumps are often retroactive pay), with 25+ people in the region and 200+ province-wide. Executive titles and physicians are left out: their pay tracks organization size or how doctors are paid, not location. Salary paid includes overtime.
